Dianne Marcum is the author of Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach & Florida's Space Coast, a travel guide published by The Countryman Press, an imprint of W. W. Norton. A talent for technical writing and rhetoric was a critical success factor in her career in finance, strategic planning, and as a corporate executive with the Walt Disney Company. Today she works in creative nonfiction telling stories of people and places through the mediums of print, photography, and video.
Dianne lives in Cape Canaveral. She is a member of several writing groups and is active in environmental and community organizations. Her passion for genealogy has taken her to Ireland several times where she discovered that storytelling is the heritage of her O'Connell ancestors. She is a community volunteer, mother and grandmother who takes to heart Walt Disney's advice: "If you can dream it, you can do it."
Dianne is available for interviews and to speak to local groups on writing, business, and tourism topics.
