Shuttle and Rocket Launches

Florida's Space Coast is America's busiest spaceport and the only spot where you can witness a manned launch. The space shuttle program will be retired in 2011 so don't miss a chance to be part of history in the making. Local newspaper, Florida Today, provides an advance schedule and last minute up-dates.


COCOA BEACH

School's out and the water's warm. If surfing is something you've never experienced but always wanted to try, summer is the perfect time. Cocoa Beach waves are usually mild, and the ocean is rock-free. Take a lesson or try a summer camp.
